Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau (L, D)
Depart from Hanoi in the morning for a 3.5 hour drive through mountains, fertile valleys and traditional villages. In the afternoon, spend time with the villagers of the Thai hill tribe, witnessing their traditional music and dance and observing customs unchanged by time. Dine with a family and spend the night in their stilted house, a truly memorable experience.
Day 2: Mai Chau - Hanoi - Departure (B, L)
Start your morning with a light trek through the Mai Chau Valley. After lunch, begin the journey back to Hanoi climbing over Mai Chau Valley itself for superb views - have camera ready! Arrive in Hanoi late afternoon.
